Here is a picture of Ceara's first visitors. Catia, Irla, Jaciara, Luciana, Lidiane, Norma and Fernando. They were so excited to see Ceara and kept saying she was so cute, they all are so excited about her nose, they think it is perfect and so tiny. Very funny, every Brazilian says she looks just like a little doll. Every sunday we have at least 10 people between our team and our church members who want to come and hold her. Those who are still too afraid to hold her come up every sunday and say she is so cute. How many times can you hear that phrase? Well with our baby a billion, she is just that cute. Haha! Norma, the lady in the blue shrt looking at the book in the picture is always the first one to grab her on sundays or anytime we see her. She keeps telling me she is going to kidnap our daughter because she is just too sweet. I remind her though that she'd have to bring her back though every time she needs to eat, it's then that she says okay, she will just have to hold her every time we see each other. She is quite the lady, lots of fun and very sweet. All the Brazilians in our church have basically become Ceara's Brazilian aunts and uncles. Ceara is going to have so many family members, she won't know what to do. The Brazilians though remind us that even if we end up moving back home one day, she still is and will always be a Solteirapolitana(What they call people born in Salvador), Bahiana(What they call people born in Bahia), Brazileira (What they call people born in Brazil)!!! In fact at this very moment, Ceara is only that, we still have to work on getting her Canadian citizenship. Hope to have you all come here one day to meet Ceara's extended Brazilian family!
