LST-Talent Night 2006

This was the last party for the LST team, they had a talent show and it went well. This is the begginner class telling the story of Jesus. They read in English and then sang songs after each part about Jesus. We also had Lauren and Logan read a poem and play catch. A family that had come before who were not interested in religious things, but came and presented the word GOD and told of the different attributes of God using each letter. It is amazing how six weeks can change a heart from being closed to being open to His calling of them. Also some of our members at the church who do not know english came and sang songs or played the guitar. It is great to see how the church members have interacted with the readers from LST and they keep inviting them to come to church every chance they get. Also one of our youth who is taking his degree in party/event throwing, George, made and provided the snacks for the after talent show party. It was a great night! Thanks LST team for the work that you have done to share your faith and teach others conversational english. We have had some much response from your work and know that if we can keep it up maybe one day soon you will be hearing that one of your readers has committed their lives to Christ. That would be worth all the work that you have done these last six weeks. Thanks, Bernard, Alicia, Kresten, Ashley, Logan, Christy and Candace!!!!
