When the Parker's returned to Brazil we got to spend a bit of time with them before they left again to return for go to the States. We will be sad for them to go but we know that for their family it is the best place for them to be. While they were here though we were able to go to the Barra Mall where they had a mini skating rink set up for anyone to go skating. Well the Parker kids we so excited about the idea of skating since Travis and I always talk about skating back in Canada. So they tried it out, a first for all three. It was quite amazing seeing them hanging on to the railings and then skate freely without any help. They were naturals out there, Brock was so excited that he could skate without help, he even skated backwards, by accident at first but then realized he could really do that, he was so thrilled. Some good memories of the kids and we were there to witness their first skating attempt. If they would have had skates small enough for Ceara we even might have been tempted to take her out there too.
