While we had our LST group here, one of the girls that Kathryn studied with became very interested in learning more about the Bible and about baptism. Clerlhan is from a family full of Spiritists and has been told many different things about religion and God her whole life. Some of her friends had invited her to go to church with them and this experience opened her heart to the Lord. He has been working on her since that time, showing her more that her families lifestyle and thoughts on the spiritual aspects of the world are not true and that only through God will she live a life full of joy and happiness. As she studied with Kathryn, she was convicted to spend the rest of her life with God. On the 18th of June we were blessed to share in her new birth into God's family. It was very hard for her as none of her friends or family wanted to share in this time but as you can see by the smile on her face, she made the right decision, Please be in prayer for her as it will be a hard road ahead especially with her family being very against her belief in God. Pray for her to grow closer to God.
