Sarah and Jesse Visit

Sarah and Jesse came to visit us for a few days while on an extended honeymoon and service vacation. We met them back in Canada while we were on furlough. They came down to South America for their honeymoon and ended up travelling around Brazil. They spent five weeks volunteering at service center in a favela (slum) in Rio de Janerio. Then they made their way up north, visiting with friends in Recife and then coming down to Salvador. We got to have them spend a few nights with us and share a bit of our city with them. We also spent part of a day up in Praia da Forte showing them the turtle reserve. This was also a fun trip for us as it was really Ceara's first time to really enjoy seeing all the turtles and other sea animals. Sarah and Jesse then took a bus trip to Brasilia in hopes to continue on to the Pantanal, which we found out later, they actually made it. Thanks for the visit!
